Book “Ashurov’s. Documentary history of the genus” by employee of ANAS Institute of Manuscripts, Professor Adalat Tahirzade was published.

As a result of research conducted by Professor A.Tahirzade in the archives of Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Russia, as well as a number of private archives were collected the valuable and still unexplored materials on the 300-year history of the genus of Ashurov’s.

The book as a glorious page in the history of Azerbaijan was reflected yesterday's and today, the history of Ashurov’s, that in during Tsarist times at the Baku City Council was represented by five deputies in the State Parliament - one deputy and the first independent state in our country's history – by a minister, who served our state, having risen to defend their fellow countrymen during the Armenian-Muslim confrontations.
