Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are bound by deep historical and cultural ties. In the modern period, the relationship between the Turkic states, including between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, is expanding. Bilateral cooperation began to develop especially rapidly after the Uzbek-Azerbaijani business forum with the participation of the heads of states Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which was held in June last year in Tashkent.

Recently, events were held in Uzbekistan, which was attended by the head of the Department of History and Theory of Architecture of the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS, Doctor of Architecture, Professor Rayiha Amenzade. We spoke with the scientist about the impressions of the trip, ongoing research and future plans.
