Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

By organizational support of National Cheng Kung University hosted the international scientific conference "The exchange of culture and art on the Silk Road" In Daegu (Korea)

At the international event our country was presented byDeputy Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, corresponding member of ANAS Shahin Mustafayev and PhD on the history Farda Asadov.

The papers of Sh. Mustafayev on "The embassy of Timurids sent to China and its description in the manuscript in Azerbaijani of the XV century" and Farda Asadov on "Khazar Khanate on the Silk Road: Khazar merchants and goods" caused a great interest at the conference attendees.

Azerbaijani scientists also attended the annual meeting of the Economic Council of the International Institute for Central Asian Studies of UNESCO held in Korea. The meeting discussed new projects and an annual research program of the Institute.
