Shootings of "Temple of Azerbaijan science” documentary completed

By the decision of the Presidium of ANAS was preparing a documentary on the 70-year path of development of higher academic structure. In this regard, after writing the script and discussions at the State Archive of Film and Photo Documents in the archives of the studio "Azerbaijanfilm" named after Jafar Jabbarli, Institute of Manuscripts, television companies were searched and acquired rare tapes and photos. They were made in the respective research institutes of ANAS in the capital and located in the regions such as Nakhchivan branch, Sheki Regional Scientific Centre, Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasreddin Tusi. The creative team interviweded Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the St. Petersburg branch of the Nobel Prize winner Zhores Alferov, president of the National Academy of Sciences in Ukraine, Academician Boris Paton and other prominent scientists and young scientists.

Scientific adviser of the film which shooted at the studio "Salname" is the president of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, author of the scenario and head of the creative team - Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, Director - Honoured Art Worker Ayaz Salayev. Also, working group includes workers studio "Salname" and some employees of ANAS. Music designer of the film is a young composer Azer Asgarov.

"Temple of Azerbaijan science" tells about state care to Academy in different historical stages of ANAS merits of prominent personalities, their place and role in the scientific community of Azerbaijan.

Note that, creating and assembling of the film "Temple of Azerbaijan science” has been already completed.
