Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On November 4, ANAS Central Scientific Library held event devoted to 85th anniversary of State Laureate, Honored Scientist, and Laureate of “Khalglar dostlugu”, “Shohrat” and “Istiglal” orders, Academician Bakir Nabiyev.

Within the event exhibition was demonstrated dealing with academician’s scientific activity. Bibliographic quiery book titled as “Citizen.Scientist.Enlightener”  was presented.

Reporting in the event Director of CSL PhD in medicine Leyla Imanova stated that, event has been held within the 70th anniversary jubilee events. Academician Bakir nabiyev has devoted half of his life to a scientific creativity. Over 60 books by him have been published. Also, he was been author and editor of over 200 scientific works, almost thousand of papers, she noted.

In the event, President of ANAS, Acad. Akif Alizadeh made speech on scientist’s merits who has been one of the notable faces of XX century Azerbaijan literature study. B.Nabiyev contributed to staff training in the sphere of literature study and his services have been higly appraised by the government. He was awarded the “Shohrat” and “Istiglal” orders, and State Prize of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was noted.

State advisor of AR for ethnic, multicultural and religious affairs, Acad. Kamal Abdullayev shared his opinions on B.Nabiyev’s merits in development of literature study science and literary thought, and highlighted him as a prominent representative of literature study in Azerbaijan, tireless researcher, selfless scholar and a critic.

Vice-President of ANAS, Acad. Isa Habibbayli noted special place of B.Nabiyev in development of Azerbaijan science and informed about his activity as well.

In the event, Academicians Vasim Mammadaliyev, Naila Valikhanli, Tofig Hajiyev, Abel Maharramov, People poet Nariman Hasanzadeh and others spoke about varied activity abd literary heritage of the scientist.
