Employees of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences were awarded the honorary diplomas

Presidium of ANAS held a regular meeting of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences (DBMS) on November 12.

The meeting was also attended by Academician-secretary of ANAS, Academician Rasim Alguliev.

Opening the event Academician-secretary of Department, Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov noted that the 70th anniversary of ANAS was celebrated on November 9. He stressed that the 70-year period, the Academy has come a long and successful way of development, has made a valuable contribution to strengthening the intellectual potential of our country, to the training of highly qualified personnel, has played an active role in the overall development of our country.

Reminding decree of the President Ilham Aliyev on awarding a group of employees of ANAS with state awards and honorary titles signed on November 5, 2015, A.Amiraslanov, said that this move is the result of a lot of attention and care to the domestic science. He congratulated the 10 personnel of the department who awarded honorary titles by the presidential decree.

Further, in connection with the 70th anniversary of ANAS a group of employees of organizations operating in the department, were awarded with diplomas for the effective scientific and scientific-social activities.

The events also addressed the issues of admission to the doctorate and dissertate via PhD and doctoral programs, nominee from the institutions of the DBMS for Presidential Prize, as well as making proposals to the plan of scientific and technical activities of international and republican level, which will be held in ANAS in 2016.
