Since the beginning of September this year, with the organizational support of the Council of young scientists and specialists of the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS, as well as financial support from the trade union, the competition "The best research work” among PhD students of the institute which started on the occasion of 70th anniversary of ANAS was appealed about 20 young scientists. 9 doctoral works were deserved to final by the Expert commission.

On November 12, the final stage of the scientific competition took place at the Institute. Opening the event, the director of the scientific institution, Professor Oktay Samadov told about the events organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Academy, and noted that decent joining the Council of young scientists and specialists of the institute in a common mission is a welcome event. Spoke about the importance of such competitions conducted among young PhD students O.Samadov praised the work of the Council and wished success to the finalists.

Further, according to the requirements of the competition finalists were made presentation on the relevance of scientific and practical value and results of their individual research work. Based on the gauging of Expert commission were declared winners. So, the winner of the competition was Ulviyya Guliyeva, and the holders of the second and third places were Gunel Gojayeva and Murad Jahangirov.

The event, which was attended by members of the board of Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, director of the Institute presented certificates, diplomas and cash prizes to the attendees of the competition.
