Employees of the Department of Agrarian Sciences awarded the Honorary Order

ANAS Department of Agrarian Sciences (DAS) held next bureau meeting on December 2.

Opening the event Academician-secretary of the department, Acad. Garib Mammadov congratulated all staff of DAS on the occasion of 70th anniversary of ANAS and stated that, keynote speech by President Ilham Aliyev in a solemn jubilee event of ANAS on November 9, 2015, has defined strategic targets and priorities for science development.

Head of state specially focused on agrarian science and has put responsible tasks before us due to ensure science involvement in protection of food safety and development of agriculture, noted academician.

Then a group of employees who worked in the institutions of department were awarded the Honorary Orders on the occasion of 70th anniversary of ANAS.

In the event, was issued to send Elton Mammadov, PhD student at Institute of Soil Elm and Agro chemistry, to a long-term business mission.
