Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Philosophy and Law of ANAS held the scientific conference on "Heritage of great leader Heydar Aliyev and the challenges of modern philosophy" dedicated to the commemoration ceremony of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

Opened the conference Director of the institute, Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh spoke about the historical merits of the national leader Heydar Aliyev before Azerbaijani people and the state, as well as his multi-faceted social and political activities.

Noted that, devoted all life to the development and progress of his people and state, at all stages of management board, great leader always exalted the national interests of Azerbaijan. The national leader selflessly worked to protect the interests and wholeness the Azerbaijani state and people, strengthening the independence, development of the state, expand democracy, improved well-being. He stressed that, the studying of heritage of outstanding statesman has a special significance for our country and for the international arena. Speaking at the event with a lecture on "Heydar Aliyev and the building of a legal state" deputy director of the Institute for science, Professor Bahram Zahidov told about activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev on the way of formation of Azerbaijan as a legal state and described such important reforms as the adoption of the first Constitution of independent Azerbaijan as an important step in the name of a powerful state.

Further, speaking at the conference the members of the Institute Doctor of philosophical sciences Azer Mustafayev, Fuzuli Gurbanov, leading researcher Haji Khalig Bashar, Ph.D. Sanan Hasanov and others noted that the intense activity of Heydar Aliyev as a politician and statesman has left a deep mark in history Azerbaijani people and has become a real school of public administration.
