December 18, Youth Union of New Azerbaijan Party organized meeting with ANAS president acad. Akif Alizadeh. Chair of NAP Youth Union Seymur Orujov spoke about implemented projects in the direction of involving youth’s interest into science.

Later on, ANAS president acad. Akif Alizadeh made speech on care and attention paid to the science at a state level. He also told about the expansion of the logistics, infrastructure modernization, and implementation of effective measures to improve the social protection of scientists, their social and domestic problems, especially for young scientists to solve the problems of housing, labor stimulation, to be sent to foreign countries in science centers.

Spoke about measures undertaken in order to reduce dependence on oil sector in the economy, the head of ANAS brought to mind the importance of science and education unity in the development of human resources. There are implemented various projects with the goal of involving the youth into new scientific knowledge, and increasing the level of staff training, as well as created base chairs in the academy. Being honored with a Presidential Award encourages the youth’s academic performances, he noted.

Making speech on projects to be realized with the purpose of rejuvenation of science and creation of highly qualified scientific youth, he stressed out upcoming tasks before the youth.
