At the 10th Baku International Book Fair, a presentation titled “Mahammad Fuzuli Publications of ANAS” was held in the “Fuzuli” presentation zone by ANAS

The event was attended by representatives from institutes and organizations of ANAS, as well as figures from the fields of science and culture, along with other guests. 

At the event, the president of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke about the order by the head of state on the celebration of the 530th anniversary of the eminent poet, great thinker Mahammad Fuzuli. He emphasized that the order gives significant impetus to study and promote Mahammad Fuzuli's heritage. For this purpose research on the poet’s scientific and literary heritage continues within the academy and a series of republican and international conferences dedicated to the great thinker's jubilee are held, he added.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli highlighted that Mahammad Fuzuli is one of the greatest geniuses of the Turkic world and underlined the need to study Fuzuli's era, works, literary heritage and ideas again in the context of the requirements of modern humanitarian thought.

The head of ANAS emphasized that there are monographs, books, translation publications and materials of the relevant institutes and organizations of the Academy, reflecting Mahammad Fuzuli's multifaceted artistic and philosophical heritage at the presentation zone for ANAS.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union, People’s writer Anar, director of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS named after Mahammad Fuzuli, Academician Teymur Karimli, department heads of Institute of Literature of ANAS named Nizami Ganjavi, doctors of philology Farida Azizova and Ataemi Mirzayev and the deputy director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS named after Z. Bunyadov, PhD in Philology Ruhangiz Jumshudlu shared their thoughts on the power and scope of Fuzuli's art and the works created by the poet in his native language.
