Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Professor Li Lei, member of the Executive Council of the Hong Kong Core Academy, Executive (Vice) Secretariat-General Raymond J. Wu and the Academy’s scientific staff members Feng Liu and Yan Zheng are on a visit to our country.

Within the visit, the president of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli and the Chinese scientists visited the tomb of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honors, laid flowers in front of his grave, and paid their respects.

They also laid flowers at the grave of the national leader’s spouse, outstanding ophthalmologist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Afterward, the guests visited the Alley of Martyrs, paying tribute to the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
