ANAS institutes and organizations held a number commemorative events dedicated to the 24th memory of victims of Khojaly tragedy.
ANAS Central Scientific Library, Free Trade Union, Institute of Genetic Resources, Institute of Botany, Institute of Oriental Studies, Institute of Philosophy and Law, Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, Republican Seismic Survey Center organized memorial events dedicated to the memory of victims of Khojaly tragedy.
Also, Huseyn Javid’s Memorial Flat hosted "round table" on a theme "Khojaly tragedy - a crime against humanity."
Noted that, the unprecedented genocide committed by armed military units on night of February 26, 1992 by the USSR's 366th regiment in Khojaly was directed not only Azerbaijan, but also against to whole mankind.
A political and legal assessment to Khojaly tragedy was given by the initiative of great leader Heydar Aliyev, was brought to the attention.
Emphasized that, Khojaly genocide - the most terrible tragedy of XX century, will never rub off from the memory of our people.
