XI International conference on Numerical Analysis and Optimization was held in Moroccan city of Beni-Mellal on April 27-29, 2016.

Director of the Research Institute for Applied Mathematics at the Baku State University Academician Fikrat Aliyev represented out country at the international event.

Being member of Science Committee Academician F. Aliyev delivered a lecture on “Identification methods and applications of the parameters of dynamic systems", which conducts identification issues related to defining parameters of dynamic systems. In addition, new effective methods were offered for its solution. Obtained results are applied to determination of hydraulic resistance coefficient in gas lift wells.

Note that, conference brought together celebrate scientists of the world: A.Larhimi, A.Jafari, A. Nachaoui, M. Quafafou (France), H.Riahi (Morocco Kingdom), T.Tadumadze (Georgia) and others, who delivered topical lectures. Chairman of Applied Mathematics Scientific Society in Morocco K. Najib interested in research works carried out in Azerbaijan and expressed his willingness in collaboration. Working principle of journals, which published in Azerbaijan and positioned on the list of Thomson Reuters, caused interest on attendees, and was stressed out the necessity of enhancing the ties due to benefit from this experience.
