The book "Unforgettable graduate Imanguliyeva Aida" was presented on June 13 at the educational complex No. 132-134 in Baku with the joint organizational support of the educational complex and the Scientists’ House of ANAS.

Director of the educational complex Sara Khanlarova said that they are proud of the fact that Aida Imanguliyeva is a graduate of the school. According to her, the school has more than 100 years, and its management has decided each year to publish a book about one of the famous school graduates. Director of the school said that since their most famous graduate is Aida Imanguliyeva, the first book dedicated to her. The book tells about the life and work of Aida Imanguliyeva.

Then, the President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, who spoke about the scientific achievements of the outstanding scientist Aida Imanguliyeva. Noting the exceptional merit of Professor A.Imanguliyeva in the development of oriental studies in Azerbaijan and world, he stressed the importance of the presented book. Head of ANAS noted that scientist, who managed to create a new scientific field, has played an important role in raising the theoretical level of Oriental studies. Academician Akif Alizadeh also shared his memories of outstanding scientist.

Further in his speech, Academician Vasim Mammadaliyev said that, the first woman Doctor of Oriental Sciences of Azerbaijan A.Imanguliyeva made a significant contribution to the research of Arabic literature, as well as the formation of a new generation.

It was noted that, by A. Imanguliyeva's works Azerbaijan oriental science was enriched with new ideas and subjects. She is one of the most quoted scientists also today.

In the event, the importance of Aida Imanguliyeva’s scientific activity also was told by Academician-Secretary of ANAS Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences, Academician Teymur Karimli, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, corresponding member of ANAS Govhar Bakhshaliyeva and director of the Scientists’ House, PhD in History Nurida Guliyeva.

At the event, was demonstrated a short documentary about Aida Imanguliyeva.
