Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On 16-18 June, on the results of the audit carried out by the International Committee for Standardization, at the Experimental-Industry Plant (EIP), it was decided to issue the international certificate for the integrated management system standards (İSO 9001: 2015, İSO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001: 2007). Experimental-Industry Plant, transferred directly under the authority of the Presidium of ANAS by decree of the Presidium of ANAS dated November 6, 2013, is the first and only in the Republic of experimental testing of this type of enterprise.

Note that on the initiative and with the direct support of the Academy management in January 2016, the company's management, given the importance of the integration of production processes in IPF processes regulated by international standards, based on international standards requirements (İSO 9001: 2015, İSO 14001: 2015 and OHSAS 18001: 2007) made a decision on the development and use in IPF Integrated management system, consisting of quality management systems, environmental, occupational health and safety. Then, with the assistance of consultants from "Zygon Caspian Consulting" was the start of the process.

For a short time, aforementioned Plant implemented an action plan to achieve these goals, the procedure for the exercise of staff management, work on the distribution of responsibility, tasks and powers in the application integration management system, as well as other activities. The work done in the workshops, departments and areas of the plant to comply with the action plan, and made in the field of environment and safety emergency measures finally borne fruit.

Being the first organization to be certified according to the international standards specified in the system of Acade, EIP also is the first institution in Azerbaijan to be awarded the certificate for the new version of ISO 9001: 2015.
