ANAS and Roma Tre University of Italy discussed the collaboration attitudes

Delegation led by President of ANAS Academician Akif Alizadeh met with rector of the University of Roma Tre, Professor Mario Panizza, Executive Board of the highest school, including teacher and student staff of various faculties.

Meeting was attended by Vice-President of ANAS Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Earth Sciences, Academician Fakhraddin Gadirov, leading fellow of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, representative of the Scientific-Technological Center of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Gulam Babayev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Italy Mammad Ahmadzadeh, first secretary of the Embassy Erkin Heydarli, including representative of Baku International Multiculturalism Center in Italy Sandro Teti.

In advance, Acad. Akif Alizadeh briefly informed on ANAS and spoke about latest priorities. Broadly informing about master and doctoral programs implementing in ANAS, scientists stated that, all conditions are available in ANAS for realizing master and doctoral programs, as well as exchange of staff and experience via Roma Tre University.

During discussions, views were issued on even reinforcing existed ties among scientific ventures of Italy and institutes of ANAS. Then, rector of the university was donated Atlas “Mud volcanoes of the world” and informed.

Meeting attendees discussed the hold of conference devoted to multiculturalism in Baku and agreed on organization of the event to the end of current year. It was noted that, this will be a report conference of 2016, which declared “A year of multiculturalism” by President Ilham Aliyev.

In a meeting, architect Laura Peretti was presented an initial project of “Yanardag” State Historical-Cultural and Nature Reserve. Under project, is intended to lay out parks around the reserve and the space to function as a family recreation center. The complex also is proposed to create a museum about the Yanardag.

Later on, the delegation of ANAS was submitted a brochure with a sophisticated design, reflecting complex to be built, museums, parks and recreation centers.

In closing, delegates of the both parties donated gifts to one-another and shot memorial photos.
