The delegation headed by the first deputy chief editor of the "Poisk" of the Russian Academy of Sciences PonarinaYelizaveta visited the Institute of Botany of ANAS.

At the meeting, which was attended by director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Valida Alizadeh, acting Director of the Central Botanical Garden, PhD in Biology Vahid Farzaliyev and head of the Department of Public Relations and Science Popularization of ANAS Presidium Administration Zulfuqar Farzaliyev, V.Alizadeh informed the guest about the activity led by its scientific institutions, as well as its international relations. She briefed the guests on the activities of the Institute on the scientific newsletter "World of Botany", which is published twice a year.

V.Alizadeh told about the Institute of Botany of ANAS and the Institute of Botany also said scientific ties and jointly implemented projects with the Central Botanical Garden of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The meeting discussed the possibility of popularization of scientific achievements of Azerbaijani scientists in the wider plane.

Yelizaveta Ponarina, in turn, informed the details provided by her newspaper "Poisk". It was noted that in the newspaper are reflected scientific research institutes, universities of Russia and many countries of the world, the opinions of scholars and experts, including information about the research teams, etc.

In conclusion, the delegation got acquainted with the Herbarium of the Institute of Botany, Botanical Museum and lively collection of the Central Botanical Garden, and gave an interview. Prepared report on the scientific and innovative activities of both organizations.
