Next seminar-training of the 2nd Special Department of ANAS was held.

The event was attended by headquarter chiefs of the Civil Defense Department of Civil Defense Troops under Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as the scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS.

Head of the 2nd Special Department Eldar Guliyev opening the event told about issues of agenda. He said that, the headquarter chiefs of Civil Defense of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS informed on a regular basis in connection with alleged emergencies, and stressed the relevance of the work carried out in this direction. Chief department said that, the main purpose of training is to educate employees, the study the rules of behavior during a disaster.

Later, the deputy chief of Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), Colonel Gudret Aghayev informed about practical measures done by MES for sake of life and work safety of the population. Making speech on the objectives set forth Civil Defense Troops, and activities of structural units of the ministry, the colonel spoke about the work carried out by MES management and its associates within 24 hours in preventing severe complications of urgent measures, floods, tidal waves and earthquakes.

It was stated that, structure of the ministry includes services such as "Fire Control Service", "Civil Defense Forces", "State Material Reserves Agency", "Construction Safety Control Agency" and other services.

At the end of seminar, necessary recommendations were charged on state of Civil Defense seminars of the steering staff in September, improvement of education for CD and its efficient organization on time. Scientific institutions and organizations have been charged to improve the state of military registration and reserving, and workers in this field were instructed to improve proper preparation of reports (Form N 6).
