Trieste city of Italy hosted for 35th General Assembly of European Seismological Commission (ESC) from September 4 to 11.

General Assembly was attended by Academician-Secretary of ANAS Division of Earth Sciences Academician Fakhraddin Gadirov, general director of the Republican Seismological Survey Center corresponding member of ANAS Gurban Yetirmishli and chief of academic relations department of ANAS Telman Jafarov.

A lecture on “The fires and dynamic parameters of the earthquakes occurred in Azerbaijan during 2005-2015” was listened at the international event.

Corresponding member of ANAS Gurban Yetirmishli held bilateral meetings with chiefs of seismological organizations and scientists of individual countries and discussed further outlooks. Within the ESC 35th General Assembly was carried out a meeting of organization members.

Note that, meetings of ESC General Assembly with participation of numerous seismologist-scientists and experts around the world countries are held every two years in the member states.
