Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

“Open book – “Dede Gorgud” monograph has been published by chief of Folklore and written literature department of ANAS Institute of Folklore, Prof. Kamran Aliyev in Persian language in the Iran Islamic Republic.

The book was translated into Azerbaijani by Azerbaijan studier, like-minded of Dr. Javad Heyat – Ibad Mamizadeh Aghdashli. Sceintific-editor of the book is PhD in philology and literature study Zerrin Kazimi.

Preface written by Ibad Mamizadeh Aghdashli to the “Open book – “Dede Gorgud” monograh’s Persian edition says: In addition to enriching Gorgud study in Iran the translation of the book will open up new horizons for Azerbaijan literature study.”

Translating the monograph into Persian language is of great importance due to learning, widely promoting the ancient written monument of Azerbaijan folklore literature - “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” in whole world.
