Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Rostov-Don city of Russia hosted IV International Forum of Caucasian historians from Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia and Israel.

At the plenary session of the forum, Director of the Caucasian Institute Professor Musa Gasimli delivered a lecture on “Migration policy in Caucasus in the XIX century and its results (relying on archive materials of Russia)”.

Preparing on prestigious sources of Russian archives the lecture met with interest by attendees. Azerbaijani scientist has chaired one of the section meetings as well.

The general opinion on continuation of relations among Caucasian studiers of Azerbaijan and Russia was expressed.
