Institutes of different profiles at the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS comprehensively investigate and study history, literature, folklore and other scientific spheres of Nakhchivan, an integral part of Azerbaijan.

Chief of Folklore study department of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, PhD in Philology Akram Huseynzadeh’s monograph “Nakhchivan: history living in folklore texts” reflects Nakhchivan folklore with its richness, antiquity especially semantic meaning.

Young researcher notes that the purpose of publishing a monograph is in a detailed study of the names of the genesis of words with special meaning in folklore texts of Nakhchivan, as well as in the promotion of important and significant scope for folklore.

The book, along with the semantic interpretation of folklore texts, also studied the value of names of special meaning.

The new publication is a valuable source in terms of better understanding of our history in folklore samples of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
