ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History of will be published next edition of the catalog devoted to the stock materials. One of this catalogs, the publication of which is provided to carry out next year is dedicated to enameled cookwares with zoomorphic images.

The main purpose of going is promotion the rich material and spiritual culture of belonging to our people, in particular, medieval pottery, presentation to the public attention the material sources, which will contribute to the study of our history. Most of the archaeological material will be published for the first time.

This catalog will be a valuable resource for archaeologists, art historians, ethnographers and historians in the study of ancient history and rich material and spiritual culture of the Azerbaijani people.

Note that, the catalog will be the first edition of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History on this theme.

In order to create a catalog has been involved 229 samples of enameled cookware and their fragments with zoomorphic images, protected in the Archaeological Foundation of National Museum of Azerbaijan History. Most of the samples were found during archaeological excavations in the medieval villages of Azerbaijan - Ancient Ganja, Gabala, Baku (Absheron), Shamkir and Karatepe (Beylagan), Orengala (in Beylagan) and I of II Bendovan.
