Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A variety of historical sources, manuscripts and ancient books of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have been collected at the Manuscript Fund of the ANAS Division of Nakhchivan. Among them Persian memoirs by Rzagulu khan Hidayat’s "Riyazul Arifin" (AH 1305, Tehran), Mushteri Mustehidzadeh Garabagi’s ornamented "Riyazul sashigin" (AH shams 1328, Istanbul), Mir Mohsen Nevvab "Təzkireyi Nəvvab" (1913, Baku) were initially investigated.

Chief of Manuscripts Collection Department Fakhraddin Eylazov appreciates the exploring of memoirs as a means for investigation of medieval period.
