In the modern period, in most developed countries on the basis of innovation to develop the knowledge economy and industrial parks play an important role in the settlement and management of activities in this direction. The economy of knowledge develops in the modern period in the majority developed countries on the basis of innovations, and science and technology parks play an important role in settlement and management of activities in this direction. In the center of science of our country are also undertaken reforms and important steps in this sphere. In order to create a direct connection between science and industry, attraction of innovative technological processes, manufacture products based on new technologies and promote its worldwide implementation of the various projects. Order of the President of Azerbaijan on the establishment of the Park of High Technologies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, which was signed two days ago, was highly appreciated by domestic scientists.

Today, in order to ensure the issues arising from this order, the delegation under the leadership of President of Academy, Academician Akif Alizadeh visited Experience-Industry Plant. Having considered products which are made at the plant were discussed the tasks assigned to scientists and specialists concerning creation of the Park of High Technologies comprising a sustainable development goal of economy increase in level of competitiveness, expansion of the spheres connected with an innovation and high technologies. During the visit, the sides exchanged views on the forthcoming work on creation of complexes for the production-oriented research and development of new technologies.
