Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Oriental Studies after Academician Z. Bunyadov published the book "Selected from Arabian sources on the medieval history of Azerbaijan." The book was translated by Senior Researcher of the Institute, PhD in history Nushaba Bayramli, as well as writing and composing of selected articles in the book.

The book presents excerpts translated from the works of Abu Dulaf "Second risale (letter)" Al-Istahri "Kitab masalic al- mamalik", Shihabeddin an -Nasavinin "Sirat al-Sultan Jalaleddin Mankburnu’s life description".

In each source are given interesting and valuable information about the history, geography, ethnic composition, underground and surface resources, historical and architectural monuments and traditions of Azerbaijan.
