Today, at the main building of Academy was held a regular meeting of the Joint Council of Veterans (CJV).

Opening the event, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Head of II Special Department Eldar Guliyev HAS informed in detail about the issues on the agenda.

E.Guliyev told about the performed works and the forthcoming problems, on done work at the Academy in accordance with the Decree of the President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh "On granting to needy veterans, workers in scientific institutions, non-recurring benefit and the right for meal benefits, including lunch in the dining room, as well as vouchers to sanatoriums for treatment and rest".

It was noted that, the purpose of awarded in the future, the 50 certificates of "Veteran of labor" and to assist to needy veterans were put forward proposals on the issuance of 36 persons a lump sum, permissions of 19 persons for meal benefits, including lunch in the dining room, as well as of 28 persons vouchers to sanatorium.

Then, were carried out discussions on issues which are of interest of veterans. At the meeting it was decided concerning the preparation and presentation of ANAS management relevant proposals in connection with the improvement of social welfare and working conditions of veterans, as well as providing them with the necessary privileges.
