Today, was presented a book “Silver and its compounds” by PhD in Chemistry Gorkhmaz Huseynov, a laboratory head of the Institute of Natural Resources at the Central Scientific Library of Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS.

Director of the Institute of Natural Resources of the Branch, corresponding member of ANAS Aliaddin Abbasov spoke about the scientific value of the new research work. He noted that the book reflects the silver position in the periodic system, its abundance in nature, the preparation, the physical and chemical properties of the compounds, as well as some of the nanoparticles of silver compounds.

Next, Deputy Director of the Institute of Natural Resources, Doctor of Chemical sciences Bayram Rzayev spoke on "A New Look at the silver and its compounds."

Speaking on the topic, the scientific secretary of the Institute of Natural Resources, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor Ahmad Garayev, and senior fellow at the institute, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor Alia Rzayeva estimated the work as the first book in Azerbaijani language about silver and its compounds.

The new edition, which consists of introduction, four chapters and a list of additions to the literature, is a useful resource for researchers, university students and undergraduates, the leading scholarly work in this direction, as well as those wishing to explore the natural resources.

Speaking at the conclusion of the event, the author of the book, PhD in Chemistry Gorkhmaz Huseynov thanked the participants of the ceremony.
