Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Farid Seyfullayev, junior scientific worker of ANAS Central Botanical Garden was on a academic trip to Switzerland.

During the trip took place by invitation of Ulf Buentgen, Swiss Federal Institute head of the Dendroecology group, F. Seyfullayev met with world-renowned scientists in the field of dendrochronology, wood anatomy and paleoecology, also held discussions. Azerbaijanian scientist held short-term probation associated with dating method of radiocarbon at University of Zurich Department of Geography Laboratory of Radiocarbon. He also had been at Zurich Federal Institute of Technology, met with Marcus Egly, head of Geochronology department of the institute.

Note that, scientific trip was taken place by grant of Youth Fund under President of Azerbaijan Republic.
