Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On November 23 the Institute Linguistics after Nasimi held the meeting with Director of the Research Institute for Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Nikolay Kazanski.

Director of the Institute of Linguistics Mohsun Nagisoylu expressed his satisfaction from the meeting with the guest and stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in strengthening scientific ties.

Speaking at the event, Academician N.Kazanski spoke about the history of the development of scientific relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, and also stressed the need to implement a series of works to improve the efficiency of joint activities between the two countries linguistics institutions.

During the meeting, Director of the Institute of Linguistics Mohsun Nagisoylu were donated to N.Kazanski "Spelling dictionary of the Azerbaijani language" and the journal "Turkiology".

N.Kazanski also met with the masters of the Institute and respondent the questions.
