Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A paper co-authored by Academician Jalal Aliyev, Irada Huseynova, PhDs in Biology Durna Aliyeva and Alamdar Mammadov, has ranked the 1st place on the official journal of “Photosynthesis Research” of International Photosynthesis Society among 20 top papers for 2015.

Paper was devoted to the hydrogen peroxide generation and antioxidant enzyme activities in the leaves and roots of wheat cultivars subjected to long-term soil drought stress.

Note that, "Photosynthesis Research" is the international journal, embracing fundamental and applicable photosynthesis. Theoretical and experimental results, covering all aspects of photosynthesis, beginning from the molecular level, sub-cellular, cellular, the whole plant and ecosystems, are published in the edition.
