Museum and libraries of the Republic of Turkey stores manuscript copies of “As-Sihahul Ajamiyya” Persian-Turkic dictionary by notable XIII century Azerbaijan scientist - Hindushah ibn Sanjar Nakhchivani.
Recently, Director of the Art, Language and Literature Institute of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch corresponding member of ANAS Abulfez Guliyev obtained 2 copies of Hindushah ibn Sanjar Nakhchivani’s “As-Sihahul Ajamiyya” manuscript, which had penned at the end of XIII century in Persian and Turkic languages, from Suleymaniye Library in Istanbul city and Topgapi Palace Museum.
A copy of manuscript, involving to research, is of 108 pages, another one is of 77 pages. Note that, the work has been used not only as a dictionary, but also as a textbook in Caucasus, Anatolia, The Balkans and the Middle East.
