On December 1, Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of ANAS, Academician Vagif Abbasov met with teachers and students of Lyceum after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Academic V.Abbasov told to the students of primary oil refining, innovations, progress in the field of commodity petroleum and petrochemical synthesis. Scientist doneted to the school library, numerous books, author and co-author of which he is.

At the meeting, was reached agreement on the sighning of the contract on cooperation between the Institute of Petrochemical Processes and school. According to the arrangement, school students will do practical training in laboratories of institute, to prepare projects for participation in the tender "Scientists of the Future" to conduct researches.

In addition, the scientists of the Institute will be taught master classes at the Lyceum and to provide the laboratory chemistry of school by the necessary reagents.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director of Research of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes, Doctor of Technical Sciences Hikmat Ibrahimov, PhD in Engineering Tarana Mammadova, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry Narmina Abdullayev and others.
