Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of History, corresponding member of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov and employees of this institution attended the 34th meeting of the TURKSOY Permanent Council and closing ceremony of “Cultural capital of the Turkic world - Sheki-2016".

In the event was held an exhibition of books published by the Institute of History. The exhibition showcased more than 100 titles of books on the history of Azerbaijan and the Turkic world.

Books on the history of the various regions of Azerbaijan and international relations, as well as the genocide committed by Armenians against our people, aroused great interest among the participants at the meeting of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY.

Among the titles were assigned a place published in various languages the book "Irevan khanate: Russian occupation and resettlement of Armenians to the lands of North Azerbaijan", "The real story and fictional" Great Armenia ", 12 brochures on the history of the Iravan Khanate," Azerbaijanis: general view of the ethnic and political history "and others.
