Deputy Director of the Institute of Educational Problems of Azerbaijan Republic, Ph.D., associate professor Anvar Abbasov, Head of the Department of Personnel Training of the Institute, Doctor of Pedagogy Umeir Ahmadov, Head of the Department of Education Theory, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor Intigam Jabrayilov, Associate Professor Mammad Kazimov and Head of Department of Ganja State University, Professor Shahin Tagiyev visited the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS.

Chairman of Nakhchivan Division, Academician Ismayil Hajiyev informed the guests about the research work carried out in offices and institutions of their meaning.

The delegation visited the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Department of Seismological Service of the Institute of Natural Resources. The guests were informed about the material and cultural samples discovered during archeological excavations carried out in 2012-2016, in different areas of the region, including such monuments of world importance as Gamigaya, Shahtahtin, Oglangaya, Ovchulartepe, Kharaba Gilan, Meydantepe, Macht Kultepe, Sadarak and Duz Dag. Also, the value of the Department of Seismological Service has been discussed and the newly established information and communication office.

During the visit, the delegation also got acquainted with the exhibition of scientific works by department employees published in various years.
