Institute of Geology and Geophysics put forward candidacy of scientists as an active member and corresponding members of ANAS

ANAS Academic Council of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics held regular meeting. At the event, chaired by Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev the council members congratulated PhD in Geology Fikret Matanov on 85thaniversary and Academician Hatam Guliyev on 70th anniversary.

Then they discussed the candidacy of 2 employees of the Institute for the vacant places for active member and corresponding members of ANAS.

Note that, on December 14, 2016 ANAS Presidium announced elections for vacant places for active member and corresponding members of ANAS.

The meeting nominated scientists of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics - correspondent member of ANAS Akbar Feyzullayev as an active member and Doctor of Geology-Mineralogy Sciences Dadash Huseynov as a corresponding member of ANAS.
