Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature of ANAS held first meeting of the Academic Council on the Problems of Philology of the Republican Council for Research Coordination of 2017, chaired by the director of the institution, Academician Rafael Huseynov.

At the meeting 26 theses were discussed, three of which relate to the doctoral training program and 23 - doctors of philosophy.

Topics theses for doctor of sciences - "Artistic layer and literature issues in the Azerbaijan historical monuments, and chronicles” by doctoral student of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature of ANAS Fargana Aliyeva, "Features of development of the Azerbaijani gazelles of the XX century” by doctoral student of the same museum Ziyafat Huseynova and “Azerbaijani and Russian children's literature and folklore: formation, stages development and relationships” by doctoral student of the Department of Azerbaijani literature of the Baku Slavic University Semengul Gafarova were approved without changes.

At the event was held scientific discussions around the following theses - "Realism and the postmodern structure of literary texts by Dan Brown (based on the novel "The Da Vinci Code", "Hell", “Angels and Demons"), "Research issues of children's media of Azerbaijan (1920-2000)", “The words of Turkish origin in the language of the American Indians", "The problem is the main and subordinate clause in English and Azerbaijani languages ", "Actual division of the text and the text units", etc.

At the meeting with the introduction of certain changes in the names of 6 theses were approved 20 topics presented by the training program for doctors of philosophy.

In the discussions, along with Academician Rafael Huseynov, also made and expressed their views and suggestions Doctors of Philoloical sciences - Bedirkhan Ahmadov, Jalil Naghiyev, Askar Rasulov, Fakhraddin Veyselli, Imamverdi Hamidov, Gazanfar Kazimov, Korkmaz Guliyev, Gulu Maharramli, Mehdi Kazimov, Nadir Mammadli, Seyfaddin Rzasoy and Shafaq Alibeyli.
