The regular meeting of the Academic Council on Problems of the History of ANAS Republican Council for Research Coordination was held.

At the event, Chairman of the Council, corresponding member of ANAS Shahin Mustafayev informed about the thesis topics of the program of training doctors and doctors of philosophy, directors and consultants. It was noted that an important point is a comprehensive discussion of the thesis for the sections.

He is stressing the need for the selection of thesis topics according objectives and requirements facing science in the modern era, as well as the development of research, making a significant contribution to the acceleration of scientific and technological progress in the society.

Next were held extensive discussions on 22 theses presented in such subjects as national history, general history, historiography, archeology, ethnography, ethnology, source study and methods of historical research.

Please doctorates and candidates were given relevant recommendations for the proper execution of their research.

Member of the Academic Council on the Problems of History put forward their views and suggestions in the debates.
