About reported President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh at the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS. The scientist said that the main purpose of such a step in the further development of youth policy, to attract young people to science, creation of conditions for their active participation in the field of science and to increase creativity capacity, as well as the study of the problems associated with the work of young scientists and elimination their problems.

Given all this, the Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences made a decision on holding first congress of young scientists of Azerbaijan, co-organized by the Ministry of Education and ANAS in October 2017.
