Approved by the Decree of AR President Ilham Aliyev dated December 6, 2016 "Strategic Road Map for the production and processing of agricultural products in Azerbaijan Republic" plays an important role in the development of the agricultural sector. One of the priorities set out in the document is to develop the production of environmentally friendly products in the country.

For this purpose at the Regional Pilot Resource Center for organic agriculture (OA) Institute of Botany of ANAS, functioning in the Gakh region, with the participation of highly qualified specialists and professional farmers to establish advisory council. With direct support of the Advisory boards carrying out educational work among the farmers who are at a transitional stage to ecological managing and also informing on application of professional consultations and is provided modern technologies.

Tasmaly village, Gakh region held a meeting with the farmers who wish to engage in the cultivation of hazelnuts on March 6. With the aim of having a high export potential fundukovodstva contract was signed between the Regional experimental resource center for OA and farmers engaged in the cultivation of hazelnuts.
