ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami

hosted event on "Azerbaijan-Chinese literary communications at the present stage" on March 10.

First, was demonstrated the exhibition "Review of the development of Chinese literature".

The event was opened by ANAS Vice-President, Director of the institute, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, who spoke about the importance of the event, stressed the importance of expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China (PRC) in the field of language and literature.

Reminded the signing of an agreement on the development of joint scientific and literary links between the Institute of Literature and the Confucius Institute of China in 2015, the scientist brought to the attention that,at the Center for Chinese Culture are operates in its scientific institution.

Further, the director of the Confucius Center in Baku, Luo Hiaoji, delivered a report "For the Future of Azerbaijani and Chinese Literature". The report spoke about the directions of the development of Azerbaijani-Chinese literary connections at the present stage, about the work to be carried out in this field.

Priorities of scientific relations between the two countries were discussed, as well as a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
