Institute of Manuscripts named after Mahammad Fuzuli has hosted a scientific session devoted to 31 March Genocide Day of Azerbaijanis on topic “Genocides committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in the manuscripts”.

Session has begun with a minute of silence for memory of genocide victims.

Deputy Director of the Institute of Science Dr. Philology Pasha Karimov noted that, fundamental manuscripts are available concerning this tragedy.

A senior researcher of the institute Dr. History Tahira Hasanzadeh delivered a lecture on “Genocides committed by Armenians against Azerbaijan people in the historical sources”, Dr. Philology Prof. Kamandar Sharifov on “Armenians’ violence in the Mir Mohsen Nevvab’s work “Armenian-Moslem argue in the years of 1905-1906”, PhD in Philology Akram Baghirov on “Armenian terror in the Mammad Said Ordubadi’s “Bloody years” work, and PhD in Philology Yusif Baghirov’s “March genocide in publicisim of Uzeyir Hajibeyli” were listened at the event.

Then, lectures were discussed by Deputy Director of Science Dr. Philology Aybeniz Aliyeva-Kangarli and scientific secretary PhD in Philology Assoc. Prof. Azizagha Najafzadeh.
