Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Director of the Institute of the History of Science of ANAS, Doctor of History Maryam Seidbeyli took part at the 23 international scientific conference held by support of the Russian Historical Society and the Institute of History of Natural Science and Technology after S.I.Vavilov of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).

At the plenary meeting of the international conference devoted to the 85th anniversary of the creation of the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Azerbaijani scientist presented a report "The contribution of Soviet scientists to the Azerbaijani science in historical retrospect". The speaker brought to the attention of the conference participants the historical facts about Russian scientists and researchers who played an important role in the development of the Azerbaijani science of the twentieth century.

The Azerbaijani scientist also met with Director of the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology after D.Scherbin. At the meeting were discussed modern relations and perspective directions of cooperation.

The Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology after M.Seidbeyli was presented with an honorary badge and a diploma "For Contribution to the History of Science and Technology".
