Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Representatives of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS (CYSSC) and chairmen and members of Student Scientific Societies of Baku State University (BSU) held a meeting, April 4.

The meeting aims to set up and develop ties among highest educational institutes and Student Scientific Societies in the direction of science and education integration.

Chairman of BSU Student Trade Union Committee PhD in Law Dashgin Ganbarov stated that, one of the main targets of the university represented by him is adaptation of student, graduate and young scientists especially achieve fruitful results in integration to the global circles.

Later on, council chairman PhD in Physics Assoc.Prof. Famin Salmanov noted that, recent years one of the most important directions of the reforms carried out is the integration of science and education. The most important achievement in this field is establishment of master studies in ANAS.

F.Salmanov brought to mind the implementation of chain projects in science popularization, and in the future educational institutions and young staff of BSU will be involved in projects “Master 2017” and “Technostart – 2017”.

At the event, council members –PhD in Earth Sciences, Associate Professor Orkhan Abbasov, Doctor of Law Aykhan Rustamzade including, SSS chairman of the BSU Faculty of Physics Dr. Geology-mineralogy Prof. Nazim Imanverdiyev Associate Professor Arif Orujov, SSS Chairman of Geology Faculty Dr. Geology-mineralogy Professor Nazim Imanverdiyev, and SSS chairman of Biology Faculty Nurlan Amrahov and others give their proposals on publication of young researchers’ academic outputs, usage of fund opportunities, and implementation of experimental and analytic studies.

In closing, was agreed to organize “Open door” day and hold seminars for student and graduates of SSS.
