Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Georgia and Moldova, Doctor of Law, Professor Namig Aliyev visited the Central Scientific Library of ANAS. He presented several editions to the library reflecting the ancient history of art, the literature of Azerbaijan, as well as the norms of international law, human rights, the Karabakh conflict.

N.Aliyev noted the importance of his book "International Law and the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict" in Hungarian and Lithuanian languages from the point of view of informing the public of Hungary and Lithuania about the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan. The almanac "Military Sector", published in Moldova, which includes articles by various foreign authors, is dedicated to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Director of the library, Doctor of philosophy in medicine Leyla Imanova spoke about the importance of the publications presented in the CSL in the propaganda of the Azerbaijani realities on an international scale. The director said that some of the books will be included in the National Digital Memory Database of the CSL.

Then an exchange of views took place between the sides, proposals were put forward.

The diplomat also visited the corner set aside in the academy hall for diplomatic corps.
