May 6, President of ANAS Academic Akif Alizadeh met with the delegation led by Vice-President of Bulgaria Iliana Yotova.

At the meeting, Academic A.Alizadeh reminded the recent visit of academy’s delegation to Bulgaria and noted that, during the visit projects which were discussed with scientific enterprises of Bulgaria have already begun to be realized. Making speech on history of ANAS, and its development way, A.Alizadeh informed about works done in science commercialization, and activity of the High Tech Park of ANAS. It was brought to mind that, numerous kind of product are manufactured at the Experiment-Industry Plant of ANAS and The White Naftalan oil is widely used in the medical field distinguished by uniqueness.

During discussion, President of ANAS spoke of studies carried out by ANAS in the fields of geology, physics, chemistry, ICT, paleontology, humanities and social sciences, including study of mud volcanoes, oil and gas beds. One of the science priorities is the participation of Azerbaijan at the megaprojects with its foreign colleagues.

Expressing her gratitude for a meeting I.Yotova told about activities, studies carried out at the Academy of Sciences of Bulgaria, as well as future prospects of scientific cooperation between two countries.

ouching upon training of young staff A.Alizadeh stressed out mutual staff exchange, and Azerbaijani young scientist and specialists to be probated at the scientific center of Bulgaria.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Bulgaria Nargiz Gurbanova, Vice-Presidents of ANAS, Academics Ibrahim Guliyev and Isa Habibbayli, head of International Relations Office of the Presidium Ph.D, in biology Esmira Alirzayeva, Public Relations and Science Popularization Office of the Presidium Administration Zulfiqar Farzaliyev and others attended the meeting.
