A conference dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the poet of independence of Ahmad Javad was held in the Central Scientific Library of ANAS with the joint organizational support of this structure and the Institute of Literature named after Nizami.

Speaking at the event, the director of the CSL, Ph.D. in medical sciences Leyla Imanova spoke about the life and work of Ahmad Javad. After informing about the project of the National Digital Memory (NDM) of the CSL, the library director stressed that the NDM is a very important base in terms of propaganda of the history and culture of Azerbaijan. She said that the NDM collected, digitized and included in the electronic catalog, ready for international exchange, possessing rich national materials for Azerbaijan, as well as the works of Ahmad Javad and the sources telling about him.

At the event, the main scientific employee of the Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philology Alizade Asgarli made a presentation on "The poet of national independence Ahmad Javad: life, environment, literary, aesthetic and socio-political views." The scientist in his report emphasized that Ahmed Javad's activity is inscribed in the historical memory of our statehood and literature.

Head of the Department of the Institute of Literature, Professor Asif Rustamli, Associate Professor of the Baku State University Atamoglan Mammadli, who created the image of A. Javad in the film "Javid's Life" People's Artist Nuraddin Mehdikhanli, Head of the Department of Management of the Azerbaijan State Archive of Literature and Art Aslan Gasimli, Republic in our country Ufuk Turganel, press adviser for the Turkish Embassy in our country Hamit Karadeniz spoke on the topic. The speeches told about the information existing in archival documents about A.Javad, publications devoted to A.Javad, reprisals against the Turkic people.

In conclusion, the great-grandson of the poet Javad Akhundzade expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event.
