Roald Sagdeev, a Professor at the U.S. Maryland University, a distinguished scientist in the cosmic studies, active member of Russian Academy of Sciences, was a guest at the Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory after N.Tusi.
In advance, scientist was informed on the works done in latest years, discussed cooperation issues.
Then, a workshop was carried out for meeting attendees.
Opening the workshop, director of the SAO corresponding member of ANAS Namig Jalilov stressed out the importance of the event.
At the event, Roald Sagdeev made a presentation on topic “The search problems of the items hidden in the universe”, and spoke of experiences carried out at the USA’s prestigious university.
Later on, a senior researcher of the Lomonosov Moscow State University for Nuclear Physics Elena Popova delivered a lecture on "Red dwarfs- search of exoplanets”, a Professor at the University of Maryland Dmitry Usikov on "Further development prospects of computer technologies".
In closing, event attendees’ questions responded.
