At a meeting of ANAS Presidium President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizade presented awards to the winners of the "Master-2017" competition on May 24.

According to the decree of ANAS President dated January 23, 2017 was held "Master-2017"competition among the students studying in the Master's program of the Academy. To participate in the contest, 45 undergraduates have submitted their documents to the Office of Science and Education of the Presidium of ANAS.

The analysis of the submitted documents was carried out by the Expert Commission, which was created by the order of ANAS President from April 27, 2017. The commission took into account such criteria as the balls recruited by students upon admission to the magistracy, overall average success rates identified in the examination sessions, scientific articles published in domestic and foreign journals, practice, participation in conferences and social events, etc.

Evaluating the results obtained by the contest participants, Expert Commission prepared the final report and presented it to the ANAS President.

According to the decree of ANAS President from May 16, 2017 according to the results of the "Magister-2017" competition, 8 masters were awarded.

Diploma of the first degree and monetary premium of 1500 manats were awarded to:

▪ Ibrahimova NigarZiya gizi is Master of I course of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry;

▪ Alishzade Nigar Oktay gizi is Master of I course of the Institute of Management Systems.

Diploma of the second degree and monetary premium of 1,000 manat were awarded to:

▪ Ismayilova Gunay Ilman gizi - Master of II course of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology;

▪ Atabeyli Nazrin Namik gizi - Master of I course of the Institute of Manuscripts.

Diploma of the third degree and monetary premium of 500 manats were awarded to:

▪ Imanova Aynur Vilayat gizi - Master of II course of the Institute of Linguistics;

▪ Suleymanli Bakhruz Dilman oglu - Master of II of the Institute of Physics;

▪ Farhadova Etyar Muzakir gizi - Master of I course of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics;

▪ Mammadov Samir Mahir oglu is Master of I course of the Institute of Economics.
